The Herd...
At Cooredulla, we have sought well known, proven genetics such as using the bloodlines of:
Sir Titus Salt, Peruvian Heritage, ILR Hemingways Protege, Benleigh ringleader, Sonoma, Benleigh Bellisimo, and Jolimont Warrior - just to name a few.
Blue Grass Milagro, son of the legendary El Dorado and out of Blue Grass Elegance, is now standing at stud. He is certain to improve any herd.
We travel to NSW regional agricultural shows and our fleeces are sent all over Australia.
Alpacas also make wonderful pets and herd protectors for sheep, chooks, goats - just about anything!
The Region...Tenterfield is the ideal alpaca growing area - low humidity, cool summers and even colder winters make this the ideal environment in which to grown fine fleece. Our Qualifications...Our aim is to breed fine but dense quality fleeced animals with low CV's. We have an average of 23 micron in our herd at present - which we are very proud of.
